Peter & Alicia

Kenneth and I went up to Atlanta to shoot Peter & Alicia's wedding with Merle Hamburger of Photo Traditions.

Peter and Alicia were awesome to work with, and the locations were gorgeous! Alicia got ready at a Bed & Breakfast about 5 houses down from their wedding location - The Trolley Barn.

Everyone even managed to keep their cool when the wedding cake toppled over. I was at the B&B taking photos of Alicia when her sister frantically told me I was needed at the Trolley Barn. I went over and discovered the staff from Soiree' Catering trying to put the cake back together even though they didn't make the cake! Fortunately, I used to make wedding cakes! Yep, that's right. So, I spent a few minutes up to my elbows in cake, and put it back together as best I could. They went from having 5 layers to 3, but it looked really good in the end. Yes, there are pictures, but I don't want to give my future brides nightmares, so I'm not posting them! However, I do think I'm going to add this tag line to our website - "We take really good pictures, and if your cake falls over, we can fix it!" hahaha

Much love! Heather

Leigh Anne & Spencer

Kenneth and I photographed Leigh Anne and Spencer's engagement session last Friday, and I just had to share some of the images! They were a lot of fun to work with, and we can't wait for their wedding in October!

More to come - I also have a wedding and a portrait session to post later!

Much love, Heather

A Sweet Wedding on a Rainy Day

Kenneth and I had the pleasure of trekking to South Carolina last weekend to photograph Burgundy and Larry's wedding. They had planned a wedding overlooking the lake at Burgundy's sister's house, but the weather proved to be uncooperative. So, everything had to be shifted inside, but fortunately this couple is resourceful and everything turned out lovely! We got a bit wet trying to take advantage of breaks in the weather to take some images outside, but everyone played along and we had a great time!

Enjoy! Heather

Southern Charm

Ok, ok, so I'm realllyyyyy behind! But, as promised, here are some of Kenneth's images from Nikki and Landon's wedding. Kenneth was working with Kathy and Joe from JK Dallas Photography and they headed up toward Pine Mountain, Ga for this wedding. The wedding was at Sweet Home Plantation. The groom arrived at the ceremony by horse, and the bride looked like a fairytale princess. It was a lovely day!

An Awesome and Unusual Weekend!

Kenneth and I had a really cool, but unusual weekend! We were both working with jkDallas Photography this weekend, but we were on opposite sides of the state! I headed off to Augusta with Joseph and Erica (my brother and sister-in-law), and Kenneth headed to Columbus with my parents, Joe and Kathy.

In Augusta, Joseph, Erica and I were photographing a really cool wedding at Le Chat Noir. Michael and Melissa were a joy to work with during their Asian themed wedding and we got some incredible images as a result! I had a hard time choosing my favorites out of the images I took to post here! Actually, I'm still not sure these are my favorites!

I'll be posting some of Kenneth's images from the weekend a bit later, but in the meantime, enjoy a peek into Michael & Melissa's wedding!

Much love, Heather
